Gale Ranch is Shapell's premier master planned development in the San Ramon Valley. This community features homes to fit the budgets of many buyers looking to live in San Ramon.  Home buyers will find homes in this San Ramon community with both large and small lots according to their home buying budget.

The Gale Ranch developement features mediterranean influenced style homes with white stucco walls and Spanish-style tile roofs. There are dozens of different floor plans but the Shappell quality is consistent and a popular development.

The neighborhood within Gale Ranch are subdivided into Gale Ranch I and Gale Ranch II.

Gale Ranch I

These are the first five neighborhoods in Gale Ranch. Built by Shapell industries in the mid 1990s, they set the trend for architectural design of residential homebuilding for many years to come.

Alta Mira at Gale Ranch - Alta Mira is the only neighborhood within Gale Ranch with no Homeowners Association. It is nevertheless extremely well-maintained and the lot sizes are larger than in most Gale Ranch neighborhoods. Home sizes are between 2,300 and 4,000 sq.ft.

Miravilla at Gale Ranch - This is a community of 3 and 4 bedroom townhomes between 1,300 and 2,000 sq.ft. They gained immediate popularity based on the tradition of Shapell quality combined with outstanding value for the time.

Portola at Gale Ranch - The first neighborhood to be developed here. Approximately 150 single family homes between 2,000 and 3,000 sq.ft.

Trevari at Gale Ranch - This is one of the smaller Gale Ranch developments. Only 85 homes here with floor plans from 1,600 to 2,700 sq.ft. There is a pleasnt park close by.

Vestrella at Gale Ranch - Another townhome community, similar to Miravilla but with some 2 bedroom floor plans. Again, a popular devlopment with light, bright flor plans.

Gale Ranch II

This is the part of Gale Ranch where Shapell is continuing to build and new neighborhoods are in the process of development.

Astoria - Gale Ranch II - Coming Soon!  3-4 bedrooms, up to 3 baths, approx. 2,627 - 3,135 sq ft.

Athena at Mosaic - Gale Ranch II -  Elegance and sophistication are found in here.  These homes range in size from 3-5 bedrooms, 2-4.5 baths and approx. 2,053 - 3,195 sq. ft.  Enjoy the tranquility of a charming and peaceful neighborhood that is conveniently located close to parks, shopping and golf.

Abbington at Mosaic - Gale Ranch II - Condominium with distinction and elegance.  Ranging in size from 2-3 bedrooms, 2-3 baths and approx. 1,763 - 2,272 sq. ft. These condominium's are designed to enhance your lifestyle with a spacious design perfect for entertaining or relaxation.

Belmaison at Mosaic - Gale Ranch II - Single family homes ranging from 3-4 bedrooms, 2-3.5 baths and approx. 1,784 - 2,772 sq. ft.  The vibrant interior design and custom features accentuate the feel of this intimate collection of homes.  Located with in the master planned community of Gale Ranch and within close proximity to lush parks and the golf course at The Bridges.

Florentine at Mosaic - Gale Ranch II - These home sites offer homes ranging from 4-5 bedrooms, 3.5-5.5 baths and approx. 2,681 - 4,290 sq. ft.  The extravagant living spaces along with plush interior design and custom features.  They are located within private lanes and cul-de-sacs where families can enjoy peaceful living.
